Scientists Urges To Re-think About Face Masks As COVID-19 Cases In Sweden Rise

Sales of face masks are climbing in Sweden…. The Royal Academy of Sciences said on Tuesday that face masks could play a role in reducing infection and urged Sweden politicians to rethink their decision not to recommend their citizens the use of face masks amid a second wave of infections. Obviously, Sweden's previous soft-touch pandemic response had not prevented the increasingly spread of the virus and new cases of the virus recently hitting record levels. Hence, the country has taken tough measures to control this climb in covid-19 cases by reducing public gathering maximum up to eight people. Certain Reports claim that Face Masks provides pseudo sense of being completely secure from the virus infection and people do not think about to avoid unnecessary social gatherings, which may have been one of the bigger reason of significant rise in covid-19 cases in Sweden and in other part of the world.   "I hope there is now a debate and leaders, irrespective of wh

After Nearly seven months waiting, we finally have the good news: Two big companies leading the race for COVID-19 vaccine have released promising results from their Phase 3 trials. Pfizer and the German biotechnology company BioNTech  announced early findings of their vaccine, BNT162b2 and  Moderna, a Cambridge, Massachusetts-based biotechnology company, mRNA-1273. final results for both are expected as soon as in few weeks. Pfizer released the preliminary result that it's candidate vaccine was more than 95% effective while Moderna’s vaccine appears to be 94.5% effective. Both of the results stand the text of time. Both candidate vaccines reported mild or moderate side effects, mostly pain at the injection site, fatigue and aching of muscles and joints for a day or two. The Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are based on delivering strands of genetic material to turn people’s cells into factories of spike protein, which was found on the surface of the virus. Day Light Saving Time: Effects On Public Health

What is "Day Light Saving Time"? The idea of this was proposed by George Hudson in 1895. The first nationwide implementation was organized by German Empire and Austria-Hungary. Many countries have used and have been using this method since 1970 energy crisis. TimeZonesBoy DST is setting clock time one hour forward or backward according to length of day/night darkness during transition between winter and summer. for example during spring clock is set one hour forward which is called "spring forward" and it's set back by one hour during autumn called as "fall back". that means we get one 23-hour day during early spring/late winter and one 25-hour day during autumn. Daniel FR, Plenz | Public Domain The areas near equator generally do not observe day light saving time (DST) because here time for sunrise and sunset don't show much difference. for example countries like Asia and Africa don't observe
